Torah Lessons

Chumash: Matot-Massai, Shlishi with Rashi.
Tehillim: 113-118.
Tanya: "Jacob is the (p. 365)...is not said..." (p. 367).

From the Tzemach Tzedek's aphorisms:

"For the P'nimi ("inward" person), asking for a blessing for Avoda epitomizes, "Let them not pay attention to vain words." [1]

What is needed is to "make the Avoda heavy on the people." [2]

Notes:

  1. (Back to text) I.e. help from Above, rather than stressing one's own efforts.

  2. (Back to text) Variations on Sh'mot 5:9.
